AMBROSE TO MAKE HIBERNIAN MOVE PERMANENT

Super Eagles defender Efe Ambrose will sign a short-term contract with Scottish Championship winners, Hibernian
according to reports.

The 28-year old joined Hibs on loan from Celtic in February after a deadline day move to Blackburn fell through, and has made 12 appearances, helping the club secure the Scottish Championship title and promotion back to the topflight.

Ambrose’s current contract at Celtic expires at the end of May and he will therefore be free to make the move permanent.

In March, he was voted Player of the Month following series of impressive performance.

Ambrose moved to Scotland from Israeli Premier League club FC Ashdod in 2012 and went on to win four Scottish Premiership titles, as well as the Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup during his time at the club.
