Champions Enugu Rangers squandered an early 2 goal lead against Gombe United but fought hard to earn a point as both teams played out a thrilling 3-3 in a rescheduled Nigeria Professional Football League matchday 19 tie this evening.
Rangers raced to a 2-0 lead thanks to a brace from Obinna Nwobodo but second half goals from Austine Oladapo (brace) and Ibrahim Abdullahi looked to have sealed the win for Gombe.
However, a last minute goal by Osas Okoro made sure both teams shared the spoils.
The draw moved Rangers to 16th in the league table on 23 points, while Gombe, also on 23 points, moved up from 18th to 17th position.
