IGIEBOR SAD, RETIRES FROM INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL

Super Eagles and Rizespor midfielder Nosa Igiebor has insisted he will no longer play for Nigeria even if he's invited by Gernot Rohr.

Igiebor was called up to the Nigerian national team last October for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zambia but didn't get to play in that game that ended 2-1.

He was however unhappy at not playing that game and granted a radio interview where he said in clear terms that he is better than most people who play in the Super Eagles' midfield and felt disrespected that Mr Rohr didn't even explain to him why he was left out of the team.

Igiebor has featured in nine Turkish Super Lig matches since joining Rizespor from Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv in January 2017.
